The 65th annual Fort Collins CBC was completed yesterday with good attendance. We wrapped the day off with a compilation dinner. We tallied 92 species with a couple of oddities. First, an apparent lack Cassin's Finches which are normally found and a new species, 2, possibly 3 Osprey. We had a few other good birds found, 2 Yellow- rumped (Audubon's) Warblers, 4 Eastern Screech-Owls (which tied the high count), and 3 Ross's Geese. We had several high counts with the Eurasian Collared-Dove increasing, yet again (not by as much this year - 790 to 850). It was a beautiful day which was another hi-lite. Thanks to all who participated and made it a memorable day!
