Folks, I splurged on a park pass to Aurora Reservoir this morning to look for the Snowy Owl seen and photographed last Sunday. I ran into a Park Ranger who had seen the owl on the dam this morning. I spent 2 hours there, slightly distracted by hundreds of gulls, but could not find the owl. This afternoon while pondering my $10 daily park pass purchase, I decided to go back. Lucky for me, I found said Snowy Owl on the east side of the reservoir. YAY! Merry Christmas.
