I went to Grandview Cemetery today over my lunch hour at 11:00. I re-found the
immature Yellow-bellied Sapsucker that Dave originally found. It was working
the upper 1/5 of the Austrian Pine the 2nd tree to the east of the black
lamppost (this tree is only about 7 feet from the cemetery fence). It was being
harassed by a Red-breasted Nuthatch and flew to neighboring trees. After about
5 minutes, it flew into the cemetery and I lost it as it flew around a tall
spruce tree 50-60 yards straight north of the grove of pines. I could not
relocate the bird as I mover north into the cemetery.
