To my great surprise, there was a VESPER Sparrow on the south side of Bluegill Rd in Falcon today. I actually made a U-turn to go look at it again as I hardly believed my eyes. Is is late, early, or wintering over?
Off Tamlin Rd, there was a Merlin off the west to east stretch and another one off the south to north stretch of the road. 6-7 Horned Larks were scattered the length of the road but NO longspurs. An unidentified raptor was to the south, too far to I.D. withour a scope. Cecile Lee Elbert, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
