After being on Joe Roller's excellent roadrunner adventure, we went to Chatfield SP, where the wind was calm, the water was glassy smooth, and a basic plumaged Common Loon was foraging near the northeast corner of the lake, closer to the dam, as viewed from the handicapped fisherman's platform.
