Today, while skiing, I had a flock of 200+ Rosy-Finches at the top of North Peak, Keystone Ski Resort. As I did not have binocs with me, I could not thoroughly sort through the flock. The overwhelming number were Brown-capped but there were at least 2 Gray-crowned. There appeared to be at least one Black but due to distance, it has to remain a R-F species.
This afternoon, I stopped by the Blue River Water Treatment Plant and found 6 species of duck (see eBird report below) but the highlight may have been a lingering Great Blue Heron.
