I followed up on the Mlodinow-Schmoker find of Evening Grosbeak near
Fawn Brook Inn. Arriving about noon today, there was a flock of about
25 EVENING GROSBEAK in the aspens at the Inn. No other species of
note.

After checking around the area a little (a surprise Northern Shrike
just south of Ferncliff; surprising to me, at least), I returned to
the Fawn Brook Inn about
an hour later but no grosbeaks. The snow was getting pretty heavy by
then so I headed back down.
