The White-winged Scoter was swimming around the ice-line in the State Wildlife
Area on the NW side of Pueblo Reservoir from noon to 1pm today, and then a boat
scared it off, though I was able to get some flight photos.  They can be seen
at http://www.flickr.com/photos/brandonsbirdphotos/

You can also, see photos of the White-throated Sparrow and Northern Cardinal
from Pueblo on Thursday, and if you keep looking on this page and the next
page, you can see photos I took of the first state record for Texas of
Nutting's Flycatcher, at Big Bend National Park on 31 December 2011.

Good birding,

Brandon Percival
