Hello, Birders. This afternoon, Saturday, Jan. 28th, Hannah and Andrew and I studied the great goose flock at Waneka Lake, Boulder County. Amid the many thousands of "white-cheeked geese" were an apparent Snow Goose x Canada Goose hybrid and an immaculate adult Ross's Goose.
Two days ago at the same time of afternoon, the goose flock at Waneka Lake numbered 1. You never know.
