Had a slow birding day in Boulder and Broomfield counties today with the only highlights being a young Golden Eagle and swan at Valmont Res. and a group of Redheads at Erie Res.
Has a consensus been made on the swan at Valmont? It was extremely distant for us, but we are leaning toward Trumpeter based on size and proportions. Has anyone gotten a close look at it or made a positive ID? Also if anyone relocates the Glaucous-winged Gull in Broomfield county over the next week I'd appreciate a call or email.
