Hi there, I located the immature SNOWY OWL at 5:20 pm today, only a few minutes before it was too dark to see.
Seen from Piccadilly Rd possibly 1/4-mile away to the east, but west of Gun Club Rd. It was moderately active, making very short flights and scanning from the ground in the 15 minutes we watched (3 others in my group saw it as well). The field has a sprinkler train and is just north of a pair of houses--one green and the other with a prominent Christian cross out front. This is north of 132nd perhaps a 1/2-mile.
