This morning, at 7:00, I went outside to go to work and lo and behold, a Pygmy-Owl was calling over in my neighbors yard (14 miles west of Livermore). Is it that time of year already?
At Drake Pond (CSU Vet Teaching Hospital pond on Drake Road), a Ross's Goose was present this am. It was the whitest of white Ross's goose I had seen this year - beautiful plumage. I would love to see the crane in NE, but my luck it would be gone when I arrived. Have a great week!
