Hello guys!

This may certainly come off as a no-brainer event and question, but I
wanted to get more information on a bird from experienced birders.

Currently I'm finishing up my undergrad work at Colorado State
University. There's always a certain way I walk or bike to campus down
Lake Street, in Fort Collins. I know we're close to the foot hills and
ravens are likely abundant, but I have never, in the years I've been
here, seen one around campus.
I was biking down Lake Street this morning and heard a raven before I
saw it. I turned to find it and saw a huge raven in a tree,
characteristic call and square head, thick neck, etc.

I was curious if it is common (or supposedly) to see them around CSU
and the surrounding area? It's very common for me to see crows on a
daily basis, but a raven is a new one.

It seems like the ideal area to see a raven, but is someone familiar
with their typical range or habitat preference that could educate me
on the topic?
I typically hear the blue jays, juncos, and chickadees on my way to
campus, but it was a treat to come across a raven this morning.
