Hi all

Chilly start with fog but after leaving Nunn Cafe things cleared out
and temperatures increased. We tallied 50+ raptors; missing on Bald
Eagle (inside joke) and Long-eared, Short-eared and Snowy
Owls ... :-) ... species seen (multiples of all species except where
indicated):

Northern Harrier (Circus cyaneus)
Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)
Ferruginous Hawk (Buteo regalis)
Rough-legged Hawk (Buteo lagopus)
Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)
American Kestrel (Falco sparverius)
Merlin (Falco columbarius) - 1
Prairie Falcon (Falco mexicanus)
Great Horned Owl
Lapland Longspur (we even got a decent photo of one!)
Great Horned Owls

This is an (recurring) scheduled annual trip with Boulder County
Audubon--fun folks, fun times!

Thanks Gary Lefko, Nunn
