Hi all, My son Bob and I went to Wheat Ridge Green Belt (Prospect
Pond) - no Mandarin Duck, Red Rocks, Morrison Park ,Bob saw
a Dipper ( but I did not) , Audubon Learning Center (lunch) Many
people every where but not many birds if any, .
Went into Chatfield. Saw my first of season Western Meadowlark fly
into the field and near by a wonderful singing one on a bush.
This was on the road from the stables. Later there was one on a
stalk on the road to the model airplane field. Lots of Magpies but
not much else. Because of Leap year the vernal equinox comes late
evening on the 19th.
