At Ketring Park today in Littleton, 2 pairs of Wood Duck were present,
our first of the season.

Also, one Cackling goose with a nearly normal head and neck (just a
bit of white smudging on the neck), but otherwise nearly entirely
white. Some brown primaries and scapulars, but otherwise white-
breasted, white underparts and underwings.

Also hanging on were 3 or 4 Lesser Scaup, 5 or 6 Bufflehead, 1 pair
Wigeon, etc.

The cattail area on the North side of the pond has been entirely cut
down, so no more song sparrows there.
