Perhaps 200 Common Mergansers on Seeley Lake today. Could have been some Red-breasted mixed in. I did not have my scope. Yesterday I saw my first pelicans for the year at Seeley. Three of them. I continue to have the Great Horned Owl pair in my yard. They must be nested near by. They are so easily spoofed that I am afraid to do much searching for the nest. Norma Erickson
