Georgia Doyle and I spent Saturday morning visiting several Weld County birding locations. The following are several of our more noteworthy sightings St Vrain St Park Mute Swan (the first of three seen today), Osprey and Great Egrets WCR 54 Two more Mute Swans Lower Latham Marsh (WCR 48) Yellow-headed Blackbirds, Great Horned Owl, Great-tailed Grackle and 2 Greater Yellowlegs Greeley's Glenmere Park 7 Black-crowned Night herons Briggsdale (WCR 83) 2 Mountain Plovers WCR 106 Merlin Also seen: one American pipit, two barn owls and numerous McGown's Longspurs Doug Kibbe Littleton
