I saw my first shore birds of the year close to home. At the intersection of AA
Street and 47th Ave. in the SE quadrant and across the road south of Carbody
Lake, I saw a lesser yellow legs and some Killdeer. Turn south off Hwy 392 on
WCR 33 and go one mile south. That little pond often has interesting birds. It
is shallow with a lot of muddy shores. The road is narrow and the people drive
very fast.
