Birded the dam at Bonny Reservoir today. no wind, cool temps - should have been brilliant.. Still a little water, scads of dead fish, (an awful stench), Lots of dabbling ducks, no diving ducks A few shorebirds, Sandhill Crane ca 20 Greater Yellowlegs ca 6 Lesser Yellowlegs ca 12 18 peeps - mainly Baird's Sandpipers Marbled Godwit 1 American Avocet 15 (Long-billed) Dowitchers ca 12 Franklin's Gull 2 American Herring Gull 1 Ring-billed Gull ca 50 Good birding all Dick Filby Carbondale CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
