Hiked from Island Grove trailhead until 25th Avenue. Total of 39 species,
highlights were:

Hermit Thrush
Common Yellowthroat
Yellow-rumped Warbler
House Wren
Blue-winged Teal (3-first time I've seen them on trail)
Snowy Egret
Black-crowned Night Heron
Chipping, Vesper Sparrow
Say's Phoebe
Cliff, Bank, Barn Swallow
Great Horned Owl mobbed by seven magpies

A lot of the adjacent gravel pits being expanded--lots of pelicans (40-ish)
sitting on rocks in one of them.
