Thanks to Chishun Kwong's post, I went over and located the Virginia Rail this 
morning at 8:00am.

South side of the boardwalk (which is on the South side of Bass Lake), in the 
wettest area, within 10-15' of the boardwalk.  Adult Virginia Rail and two 
hatchlings.
