Hi all

The last few days have not provided many highlights.

Firstly: no sign of any Boreal Owls on any of the last three nights on the
Grand Mesa, anywhere along hwy 65. Way too much searching without any luck!
Not a sound! No sight..

Spring Park reservoir is getting quieter, but has produced way more birds
than owling on the Grand Mesa!

Whilst many ducks have left, there are still tens of Buffleheads, Lesser
Scaup, Northern Pintail, American Wigeon as well as Cinnamon and
Green-w.Teal, and scores of Eared Grebes, plus a few Western and Pied-billed
Grebes.

Also 1000's of swallows - but virtually all of them Tree Swallows still

Highlights were..

Common Loon (alt)

Ring-billed Gull 1

Franklin's Gull 7

Wilson's Phalarope 12

American Avocet 1

Long-billed Dowitcher 1

(White-faced) Ibis 16

Wilson's Snipe, Killdeer: several

Peregrine Falcon 1

Good birding all
