After reading Mr. Matheus' email yesterday about the birds near
Stearns Lake in Boulder County, my husband and I went birding this
evening between 7-8:15 pm at the pond across the street (104th) from
Stearns Lake and at Stearns Lake:

-Bald Eagle (drinking from the pond across from Stearns Lake:

-2 pairs of Swainson's Hawks (http://flickr.com/gp/inquisitive/770hgs
and http://flickr.com/gp/inquisitive/WTK5j1 )
-1 American Kestrel
-2 pairs of Mallards
-1 female Western Meadowlark
-2 Killdeer
-5 Red-necked Pharalopes
-2 Great Blue Herons
-many Red-Winged Blackbirds
-1 American Avocet
-1 pair of Mourning Doves
