Started the day with 2 semi-rarities for the banding station - a Redstart
and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Other cool captures included 4 birds banded
in prior years, including a Yellow Warbler, banded as an adult in 2006, who
we have caught every year. (So, 8 or more years old!) Here's the breakdown:

House Wren 2 new, 1 return banded 5/9/11

Yellow Warbler 1 new, 1 return banded 5/24/06 (see above)

American Redstart 1 (ASY female)

Wilson's Warbler 1 (FOS)

Yellow-breasted Chat 1 return banded 5/20/10

Red-breasted Grosbeak 1 (SY male)

Red-winged Blackbird 3

Brown-headed Cowbird 1 return banded 5/17/10

Open daily (weather permitting) through next Wed, open on a very limited
basis on Thurs, then closed Fri and Sat (5/18-19). Then open daily (again,
weather permitting) through June 3.
