Had a Northern Cardinal fly by about 30 minutes ago doing charactersitic chip calls, possibly startled by a crow that came into the trees. All I saw was a flash as it went by, but it called all the way down a small creek between Bldgs A and B at the Federal Complex on Center Ave. in Fort Collins. I ran and got a playback, but was unable to get it to respond, so it must have flown further south, possibly to the Vet Teaching Hospital on Drake. Hope everyone is having fun at the convention!
