On Friday, 5/18, Jessie Dulberger and I spotted a single breeding plumaged Cattle Egret back where they have been traditionally observated in the wet meadows SW of Hwy. 52 and Boulder Creek (or just inside the Boulder County line), or east of the Tree Farm. It's been nearly 2 years since I last observed one here. And guess what . . . it was hanging out with some cattle. Imagine!
