Hello, Birders. Earlier this hour, Wednesday, May 23rd, I audio-recorded an Eastern Meadowlark at Greenlee Preserve, Boulder County. I have put the sound spectrogram at CFO's Facebook page, here:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/129995222037/ I first heard the bird in a tree at 39.997197 N, 105.112438 W. Then it flew to the huge dead tree at 39.997000 N, 105.113627 W. Then it flew to the northwest a bit, and I lost track of it. Hope it's still around! Oh, and given that the bird is moving around, know the flight call--distinctive to genus, for sure, and perhaps to species.
