We have more than 100 nestboxes on our ~40 acres of pinyon/juniper habitat about 18 miles east of Salida. This season, a Northern Saw-whet Owl raised a brood of 3 Saw-whet-lets in one of the boxes-a first for us in 12 years of providing/monitoring nestboxes.
