Before the smoke got ridiculous, an almost-adult bald eagle flew directly over my vehicle this morning, July the Fourth, on I-76 between the 74th Ave. exit and the Dahlia Street overpass in Commerce City. Nearly full adult plumage, with a head not quite perfectly as white as the tail was.
