We had our second Magnificent Hummingbird of the season tonight at dusk when
one came around our feeders several times, scattering the assemblage of
Broad-tails tanking up before bedtime.  The Magnificent did not partake of the
food.  Our earlier sighting was on July 9, when Nancy got a very good photo.  I
assume it is a migrating bird, but from where?  That is a good question.  Could
it be that a few breed up here in the mountains of northern Larimer County as
someone suggested in response to our first sighting in July, and the subsequent
sighting by others at Tunnel Campground in the Laramie River Valley?
