With back-to-back-to-back-to-back school groups occupying much of our time
today, we opened only part of the station. Still managed to capture and
banded 40 new birds. Similar mix to yesterday, with a bunch of Chipping
Sparrows thrown in. Here's the breakdown:

Hairy Woodpecker 1

Western Wood-pewee 1

Dusky Flycatcher 2

House Wren 1

Orange-crowned Warbler 1

Townsend's Warbler 1

Common Yellowthroat 1

Wilson's Warbler 26

Chipping Sparrow 6

We had only 2 recaps from the 64 WIWAs banded the day before, suggesting
that most moved right on through.

Open tomorrow (Friday), with no school group scheduled. Saturday is the
Barr Fall Festival, with lots of people and lots of fun. Then open every
day next week EXCEPT Wednesday (9/12).
