I birded Florence River Park a little yesterday and a lot today--yesterday
there was an immature Eastern Phoebe, about a dozen Yellow-rumped Warblers,
1 Orange-crowned and 4-5 Wilson's. Today it was bird-central---several
dozen Yellow-rumps in all phases of molt from breeding to winter plumage,
several each Orange-crowned and Wilson's, 1 Townsend's (more on their feast
later). And there was a second Eastern Phoebe, an adult, and a Black
Phoebe also there today. I have seen an immature Eastern Phoebe a few
times over the past month in and near this location so suspect today's
immature may be the same one as it engaged in several antagonistic
interactions with the Black and the adult Eastern Phoebe, possibly intended
to chase them from it's territory.

I didn't get photos of the adult Eastern or the Black Phoebes but did get
them of the immature Eastern. I have posted those photos on my Birds and
Nature <http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com> blog. The buffy wing bars are
evident and I enlarge one photo that shows the pointed rectices on this
bird.
