Joyce Takemine and Sandy Arnesen came down from Boulder this morning and we
birded spots below Pueblo Reservoir dam.  Before they arrived, I found aWestern
Palm Warbler, along the south side of the river, near Snakeskin Picnic Area.
We finally were able to re-find the bird.  We checked yesterday's Philadelphia
Vireo spot on the North Side of the River, near the Swim Beach twice, without
finding it.

We then went to the Osprey Picnic Area, where at first it seemed slow, except
for an out of place Steller's Jay, though it got better quickly.  In the
eastern part of the picnic area, way high up in the cottonwood trees with
Black-capped Chickadees, we saw a Tennessee Warbler, then the Yellow-throated
Warbler, and a Blackpoll Warbler.  We later saw the Blue-headed Vireo too.
There were also a few Townsend's Warblers (not as many as yesterday), and we
saw two Eastern Phoeebes.  There didn't seem to be as many Yellow-rumped
Warblers around today either.  There may well have been other interesting
warblers with these rare warblers that we did see, as the birds were so high up
and somewhat hard to see.
