This morning about 10 AM I noticed a long string of Ecodoves (my term) across the street 3 houses to the north in their backyard at top of utility pole I counted 35 most tightly closed together. Later about 10:30 I saw 13 on my back yard wire then around the corner on way to Wheat Ridge green belt were a dozen more. Made more than 50 near my house. Hmm the bird feed bill will be higher this year if they all stay.

At the green belt there were about 8 groups of Canada Geese but only one D.C. Cormorant on Prospect Pond. While crossing the foot bridge over Clear Creek I noticed the creek covered the bottom and was not deep and only flowing slowly down stream. On the waters edge there were two hybrid Mandarin Ducks, way too big for Mandarins but lots of their markings for male and the female a foot away both facing the water. Be nice if the stay if someone could get some
good pictures. Before the coyotes get them.

Don the park watchman that drives the little park vehicle around said coyotes have been taking the domestic type geese. Only one white duck and 2 brown or
black ones left also.
