COBirders,

Sorry for the late post.  Yesterday, Lisa Edwards and I did some birding on the
Eastern Plains and had the following highlights:

Kit Carson county:

Flager SWA (bird numbers way down from my trip there last Sunday):
1 Broad-winged Hawk (adult)
1 Red-bellied Woodpecker
1 Palm Warbler
1 Yellow-breasted Chat (in the same exact spot as last Sunday)
2 Field Sparrows
3 Swamp Sparrows
1 White-throated Sparrow

Over the town of Stratton there was an dark adult Broad-winged Hawk.

In the park that is on the north side of Burlington, we had FIVE NASHVILLE
WARBLERs in one tree!

Yuma county:

Wagon Wheel campground at Bonny SWA
1 BLUE-HEADED VIREO
1 Nashville Warbler
