Adams County:
--A Western Palm Warbler was banded by McBurney at Barr Lake on September
30.

Boulder County:
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Guarente flying over Longmont on
September 28.
--A White-throated Sparrow was reported by Floyd in the SE corner of
Greenlee Preserve on September 29.
 --A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Floyd at Lagerman Reservoir on
September 29.
--An ad m Northern Parula was reported by Hansley on the Towhee Trail in
Boulder on October 1.

Douglas/Jefferson Counties:
--A probable ARCTIC TERN was reported by Walbek at Chatfield SP on
September 25.  Walbek reported that the ARCTIC TERN continued at Chatfield
far from shore on September 26.

El Paso County:
--A Green Heron was reported by Koehn at Fountain Creek RP on September 29

El Paso/Pueblo Counties:
--At Chico Basin Ranch on September 26, Brown reported at the banding
station:  2 hatch year m Black-throated Blue Warblers, hatch year f Scarlet
Tanager, and f Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
--At Chico Basin Ranch on September 27, Brown reported that a hatch year
PHILDELPHIA VIREO and hatch year Blackpoll Warbler were banded.
--At Chico Basin Ranch on September 28, Brown reported that an ad f
Rose-breasted Grosbeak was banded.
--At Chico Basin Ranch on September 29, Brown reported that a Wood Thrush
and Black-throated Blue Warbler that were
banded earlier were recaptured.
--At Rose Pond at Chico Basin Ranch on September 30, Hinds reported an imm
Magnolia Warbler.
--A m Black-throated Blue Warbler was banded at Chico  Basin Ranch on
October 1 as reported by  Brown.
--On the El Paso side of Chico Basin Ranch, Percival reported the
Black-throated Blue Warbler and Eastern Phoebe.

Fremont County:
--Eastern and Black Phoebe were reported by Moss at Florence River Park on
September 27.

Jefferson County:
--A Pine Warbler was reported by Henwood at Belmar on September 28.  Hudak
reported Palm and Pine Warbler at Belmar on September 28.
--A Blackpoll Warbler was reported by Kibbe in the SW corner of Koontze
Lake at Belmar on September 29.
--A Palm Warbler was reported by Chavez on the N side of Koontze Lake at
Belmar on September 29.
--2 Palm Warblers were reported by Kibbe in the SW corner of Koontze Lake
at Belmar on September 30.
--A Black-throated Blue Warbler was reported by Chavez at Denver West
Business Park on September 30.

Kit Carson County:
--A Carolina Wren and SEDGE WREN were reported by Mlodinow in the Flager
area on September 27.
--At Flager SWA on September 29, Peterson reported ad  Broad-winged Hawk,
Red-bellied Woodpecker, Palm Warbler, 3 Swamp Sparrows, and White-throated
Sparrow.
--In Stratton on September 29 Peterson reported an ad dark morph
Broad-winged Hawk.
--In a park on the N side of Burlington on September 29, Peterson reported
5 Nashville Warblers in one tree.

Larimer County:
--On the trail between Taft and Wilson in Loveland on September 26, Coley
reported Fox Sparrow.
--In Loveland by the Big Thompson River and Wilson Cropper reported a hatch
year MOURNING WARBLER and 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks on September 27.
--A m Black-throated Blue Warbler was reported by Leatherman near the
parking lot of Environmental Learning Center (ELC) off
East Drake Road about mile east of Timberline in E Fort Collins on October
1.

Mesa County:
--American Three-toed Woodpeckers were reported by Trappet on Grand Mesa on
Septmeber 29.

Morgan County:
--An American Golden-Plover and 2 Sabine's Gulls were seen by the DFO Field
Trip to Eastern Plains as reported by Kaempfer on September 30.

--Otero County:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Moss at Lake Holbrook SWA on September
29.

Phillips County:
--At Holyoke Cemetery on September 30, Dunning reported singing Pine
Warbler,  2 Nashville Warbler, EASTERN TOWHEE, EASTERN MEADOWLARK, and
White-throated Sparrow.  A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Mlodinow at
Holyoke Cemetery on September 30.
--At Holyoke City Park on September 30, Dunning reported Nashville Warbler,
Black-throated Green Warbler, Palm Warbler, YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER and
PURPLE FINCH.
--At the Courthouse in Holyoke on September 30, Dunning reported
PHILADELPHIA VIREO.
--A Northern Cardinal was reported by Mlodinow in Holyoke on September 30.

Pueblo County:
--At Osprey Picnic Area in Rock Canyon on September 28, Percival reported
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER and BLUE-HEADED VIREO.
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Percival W of Valco Ponds parking lot
and 2 Black Phoebes were reported by Percival E of Valco Ponds parking lot
on September 29.
--2 PHILADELPHIA VIREOS were reported by Percival W of Pueblo Nature Center
on September 29.

Washington County:
--At Last Chance on September 27, Breitsch reported Hooded Warbler and 2
White-throated Sparrows.
--At Last Chance on September 27, Mlodinow reported Winter Wren,
BLUE-HEADED VIREO, and 2 PHILADELPHIA VIREOS.
--At Last Chance on September 28,Huffstater reported BLUE-HEADED VIREO, 2
PHILADELPHIA VIREOS, Winter Wren, Palm Warbler, and 2 White-throated
Sparrows.
--At Last Chance on September 29, Tina Jones reported BLUE-HEADED VIREO and
Winter Wren.

Weld County:
--2 Palm Warblers were reported by Severs at Union Reservoir (fee) at the S
end of the reservoir on September 25.

Yuma County:
--At Wagon Wheel Campground in Bonny on September 29, Peterson reported
BLUE-HEADED VIREO and Nashville Warbler.
--At Stalker Ponds SWA on September 30, Dunning reported a White-troated
Sparrow.
--At the Wray Fish Hatchery on September 30, Dunning reported a singing
 BLUE-HEADED VIREO, Magnolia Warbler, and Eastern Phoebe.
--At Wagon Wheel CG in Bonny on September 30, Dunning reported Nashville
Warbler and YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, October 6 will be to Lair O' the Bear led
by Nina Routh (303-987-8687).  Meet the leader at 0800 at Lair O' the Bear
Park.  From Morrison drive 4 miles west on C-74 to park entrance on Left.
 Observe the speed limits.  Half day Trip. Bring snacks, water, bins and
good walking shoes for an approximately 2.5 to 3 miles hike.  Dress in
layers for a fall day.  Feeder monitoring will follow at the Bear Creek
Restaurant.  Please phone leader to register.  This trip has a limited
number of participants so registration is a must.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, October 7 will be to Fort Collins Area Ponds
led by Paul Slingsby (303-442-3728).  Please notify leader by phone or
e-mail (psalingsby At comcast.net).  Meet to carpool from parking lot south
of 120th and east of Huron at 0730.  This can be accessed via I-25 exit
223, go west on 120th Ave to Huron and south until you see the parking lot
on the left.  Park close to Huron.  Trip will return to carpool meeting
area by 4 pm.  Bring water, and sack lunch and plan for variable weather.
 Scopes and 2-way radios will be useful.  Plan on one or two walks of a
mile or so.
