The Yellow-throated Vireo that I saw this morning, didn't hang out too long in the bushes and trees, where I first saw the bird. Clif Smith came over fairly quickly, and we couldn't re-find the bird. It was with some other birds, and the bushes and trees it was in, seems to be a good place to look for birds. I also saw a young Red-headed Woodpecker and an Eastern Phoebe in this location, down stream from the Snakeskin Picnic, near the Arkansas River.
Later, Clif and I went over to Osprey Picnic Area, and did see one Townsend's Warbler, though other than that not too many birds. A few Yellow-rumped, Orange-crowned, and Wilson's Warblers, also a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Photos of Yellow-throated Vireo, will be on my flickr site soon. This was only 2nd one I've seen in the fall in Pueblo and Colorado, the other one was across the river in this area, in late September, many many years ago.
