Greetings All,

At Last Chance today, there was a HERMIT WARBLER, likely immature female, kitty
corner from the rest stop, feeding on the ground under some sunflowers. It may
have flown over to the rest stop after Cathy Sheeter and I left. The
BLACK-THROATED BLUE, present for several days, was still there as was a tardy
Swainson's (Olive-backed) Thrush.

Photos of the warblers can be seen at

Jackson Reservoir still had 15 species of shorebirds including 28 AMERICAN
GOLDEN-PLOVERS, 3 late Wilson's Phalaropes, about 250 peep, and a Black-bellied
Plover. Among the gulls present were about 10 Herring Gulls, a splendid juv
THAYER'S GULL, and an adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL

I guess WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS are in on the parade of eastern birds, with
about 15 at Jackson State Park.

Good Birding
