Cobirders: There was some interest in my Lake County list, so I'm posting it here. Feel free to copy and paste text for your own use. Thanks to everyone who responded to my "Farewell to Colorado" post. I hope to bird more in CO in the future; hopefully at lower elevations where there are more birds! Big "misses" for me were White-tailed Ptarmigan (found several feathers in Mosquitos hiking, never actually laid eyes on the bird), and didn't spend enough time owling to bag any of the small owls.
