Urling watched a Pinyon Jay above our house for about an hour this morning. We hope it's a scout with a troop of them to follow. One year a flock of Pinyon Jays haunted our hillside for a month or two -- probably 10 years ago.
Six crane flocks flew over our house today ( heard but not seen] between Noon and 2 p.m. today.) Douglbirds members have reported at least 33 flocks yesterday and today, from Franktown to Kiowa.
