If anyone is interested in trying to see the Yellow-throated Warbler in Pueblo, it seems to be hanging out with Yellow-rumped Warblers in the extreme eastern part of the Osprey Picnic Area, below Pueblo Reservoir dam in Rock Canyon. Not too far east of the small wooden bridge, the bird was seen around 11am today, taking a bath in the Arkansas River with the Yellow-rumped Warblers. Maybe this would be a good place and good time, to see the bird, if it likes to take a bath at the same place and time regularly. Mel and Jeanne Goff and I were able to look down at the bird, usually you have to look straight up at the bird, way high in the cottonwoods.
