I also saw the Common Loons on Erie Reservoir the evening of 10/29, when I was southbound on US287 at Arapahoe Road. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, grabbed the binoc, and hurried back, the light was bad. There's no place to park, so I (illegally) sat at the gate and glassed the lake as best I could from the east. Saw a flock of buffleheads, but the Loons were too far for me to see clearly.
