This morning I had a chance to fit in a bit of birding while out in Salida for work. Among the highlights was a Greater White-fronted Goose with a flock of 150 Canada Geese on the baseball fields in Salida. A flock of 15-20 Cedar Waxwings included no Bohemians.
At Antero Reservoir I found one Pacific Loon, two Common Loons, two Snow Geese, and one male Barrow's Goldeneye amongst the thousands of waterfowl.
