Yesterday afternoon and this evening, there has been a Red-tailed Hawk in or near the NE corner of the parking lot of the CenturyLink building at 700 West Mineral in Littleton, just west of Broadway. The bird has a white circular cap on the top of its head, very white, prominent 'eyebrows,' a thinly banded brown tail of a juvenile, and a head and neck that's more dark streaks over white than the normal dark head. Not light enough to be Krider's (and it does have a well-defined belly band under a white vest), but light enough to perhaps be a cross. Dave Cameron Denver
