COBirders,

Along with about 18 other happy birders I was able to get a very good view
of the Brambling this morning around 10:00. Before that, I noticed the "no
feeding" sign listed the ordinance number as the reason for the restriction.
On person, who had been told (I think incorrectly) by someone connected with
a normally responsible bird conservation organization that Park officials
had said bird feeding there was admissible, started to put out some seed.
Some of us advised against it and the person did not continue.

We owe a vote of thanks to Paul Hurtado for looking up the ordinance and
thereby providing a possibly simple solution to the problem. Umm, I would
be remiss to not mention that Paul is a Pueblo native. :-)
