There seems to have been a recent influx of Bald Eagles into the
Chatfield/McClellan reservoir area. I've seen 5 in the past 3 days, where
I've seen none before that for an extended period. Of the 5, one was just west
of Wadsworth, one was over my house in Roxborough, one was scaring ducks at
McClellan, one was headed west along C470 near the Chatfield dog park, and one
was flying eastward over Santa Fe near Highlands Ranch Blvd.

Of these, there are at least 3 individuals. I've seen an adult, and both a 2nd
and 3rd year bird.

There was a Northern Shrike present yesterday in the open space behind
Roxborough Skate Park. It was in the same tree that Northern Shrike was in
last January when it became the very first official "yard shrike" at my new
house.
