Two C. Redpolls made a quick visit to a spruce tree in my yard in N. Boulder yesterday morning around 9 am. Also in the yard, a flock of a dozen Bushtits, a Merlin (also seen early am Thursday), and several Pygmy nuthatches. In the Gunbarrel neighborhood (Bldr Cty) on Wednesday, I found a flock of 24 C. Waxwings and a flock of 11 Bushtits (along Spine rd) Good birding,
