Hello Birders, Keep the feeders full and bird baths free of ice! In one hour of observation early this morning I had 16 species, my house is in Bear Valley, Sheridan and Dartmouth approximately 1000' as the crow flies from Bear Creek. The list is as follows: 4 Eurasian Collared-dove 3 Downy Woodpecker 6 Northern Flicker (Red-shafted) 2 Blue Jay 4 American Crow 2 Black-capped Chickadee 2 Red-breasted Nuthatch 1 White-breasted Nuthatch 1 Townsend's Solitaire 7 American Robin 37 Common Starling 7 Cedar Waxwing 5 Dark-eyed Junco 24 House Finch 2 American Goldfinch 3 House Sparrow Happy Holidays, Art Hudak Denver County
