Hi all,

At Fountain Creek Regional Park (El Paso County) this morning another
birder and I watched an adult Northern Shrike around the dried pond north
of the nature center. Other less-common birds we found this morning
included two Virginia Rails that gave us great looks below the bridge
between the northernmost nature center ponds, two ruby crowned kinglets
near the Mile 18 marker, and a flock of bushtits along the path west of
Rice's pond.

Happy Trails,
Lee Farese
